Chapter 104 – 59-1 a Rainy Weekend.
The past few days have been pretty busy.
New scenarios, casting issues, props, and even sets.
With only a few weeks left, everyone was busy.
Occasionally, troubles occurred and my head hurt, and it was really hard to proceed while mediating the meals, which were sensitive to trivial issues.
My head hurts thinking about the busy weekdays this week, but it wasn’t today.
Weekend morning.
Were you overjoyed that you could rest?
Or are you lucky not to get involved with the noisy luncheons?
I got up from my bed in the dormitory, hummed a song without washing or changing, and headed to the dining room for breakfast.
‘Miss Christine said it’s not good to exercise without a day off.’
From that day on, I learned the finer points from Christine.
Starting with how to run, I learned in detail what kind of exercises to do to broaden my stamina and muscles.
‘This is why you need a trainer. That’s why I recommend PT to Helen.’
I arrived at the restaurant after walking down the hallway with a trivial thought.
Compared to the appetizing scent, there were quite a few school lunches, perhaps because it was a weekend morning.
‘I’m tired from preparing for the festival, so I seem to be sleeping on the bed.’
Either way, Allen sits down with his breakfast order and thinks about what he has to do today.
‘Should I have breakfast, finish the script, and go see Christine? They said they would meet at lunchtime, so it must be a bit tight.’
There were few people eating breakfast, so I quickly pulled the finished breakfast cart and put it on the table.
‘I said we’re having lunch together today, so we should eat in moderation.’
A total of ten plates.
It was not a very large amount to Allen, but to others it was a frightening amount.
Perhaps because of this, Allen was secretly called a handsome gourmand among her academy students and restaurant staff.
It’s mostly limited to women, though.
“I’m hungry… But I have to endure it, what.”
Allen muttered that she was hungry as she piled the empty bowls on her cart.
I thought she ate moderately, but apparently not.
“I can’t help it. I have to eat a lot at lunch…”
****
Nervous.
I don’t think I’ve been this nervous since the first time I went to the battlefield.
“…Are you okay? I haven’t worn a skirt since the nun’s uniform, so it’s awkward…”
Seeing herself reflected in the windshield of her shop, Christine shamefully straightens the skirt that comes down to her shins.
A skirt worn in a long time.
I could just wear my pants like normal…
It’s okay though… I wanted to wear it strangely today.
She wanted to try on the skirt that was sitting in the corner of her closet.
‘Why are you doing this? At most, it’s just a meal or two. Why are you dressed like this… I don’t think it suits you.’
The laughter of each of the people walking down the street seemed to be laughing at me for some reason.
Why does a girl like a slut wear a skirt?
Why did a girl like a farmhand come out dressed as a flower?
The joyous laughter of each of them sounded to me as a mere sneer at me.
Go back right now, or, since time is running out, buy some pants from a nearby store and wear them.
Okay. OK.
“What are you doing?”
“No. It’s been a long time since I’ve worn a skirt, so it doesn’t suit me… When did you come?”
“Just now. By the way, does the skirt look good on you? Should I say it’s different? Anyway, you look good, Ms. Christine.”
“Thank you.”
At Allen’s praise, Christine wiggled her fingers and bowed her head slightly.
“I was going to come out first, but I was a little surprised that he came out early. Same with the skirt.”
“As expected… Doesn’t it suit you?”
Christine asks about the skirt again.
But Allen looks at Christine with her grave expression, she says.
“You know what? Because when I lie, her face turns red. And the skirt suits you well. Um… A neat country girl by analogy?”
“Ah, what is it? In times like these, you should call her young.”
“It’s still pretty.”
It’s like this every time.
That word that comes through.
Even if it’s not a big deal, this child doesn’t know how much it makes my heart beat.
Weird. It was really strange.
I’ve never run away from a battlefield, and even though their accusatory ridicule is nothing compared to killing people, I ran away.
It was scary.
He was called a hero, but he wasn’t.
It was no different than a sarcastic nickname given to me, who was just good at using a sword and sweeping the battlefield, if I was in the mood.
After leaving the Knights, I wandered without politics.
Wouldn’t it make a difference if I helped people? I want to think.
It was like self-satisfaction.
Helping the weak, receiving gratitude and gaining confidence.
I was that kind of woman.
But even shallow self-satisfaction, gaining confidence in the wrong direction, everything was futile.
So I decided to use my career to get a job at an academy where I could teach everyone.
It wasn’t pure intentions at first.
Such an impure intention that I just want to teach innocent children and get better.
But that’s it.
Pure malice was more terrifying than cowardly and humiliating malice.
Nobility. Academy. Boy girl.
Anger, envy, jealousy, resentment.
Their malice toward me was dirty and ugly.
The malice of the students teaching was too pure.
I wanted to die.
Like a whisper every night.
When I close my eyes, the sight of a brutal battlefield comes to mind.
Those whom I have killed trample me innocently with the faces and voices of the boys and girls I teach.
Thought every day
If only I had stayed in the convent.
If you don’t hold the sword
If only I hadn’t left town in the first place.
Wouldn’t it be different from now?
But if even this turns my back and runs away… Will I be able to stand in front of someone again?
Endured
Thinking that patience is the answer, I killed my heart, and while laughing briskly, I slowly killed my heart.
Today, too, when I heard the ridicule of the boys and girls, I killed my heart and acted out a grave figure, and my heart cooled down.
An irritated voice.
A rant that didn’t mention me.
First time.
Someone, a blonde boy who didn’t look down on me, got angry and defended me.
A pure, uncalculated favor that I received for the first time.
That roar, still young but powerful, made my dying heart beat again.
When I hear this child’s words, I feel strangely courageous.
No matter how much they ridiculed me, insulted me and pointed their fingers at me, it seemed that this child would protect me.
“Do you want something to eat?”
“Well, I don’t know. What would be good?”
“Then go to a store I know. It’s delicious there.”
May be the first
This beat. This trembling is new to me, so I’m not used to it.
So let’s calm down.
****
“Isn’t that Allen?”
“Couldn’t it be someone similar? Blonde hair is common.”
A wide-brimmed hat to prepare for the scorching sun.
Two women wearing black sunglasses look at the familiar boy and ponder for a moment.
“Is that right? After all, I wasn’t that tall.”
“That’s right.”
“What are you doing?”
Ariana, who came out with a bag containing the finished school uniform she ordered from the tailor, asks the two women.
“No, nothing. Ah, thanks Ariana. For hanging out like this.”
“No. It’s natural to wait on the two of them, so please tell me anytime. Lady Evelyn, Miss Rosaria.”
“Is this a school uniform? It’s a soft material. Right, Elder?”
“I see. Definitely different Unlike the clothes we used to wear.”
Elves looking at and touching the uniforms in the bag let out excited voices.
“Ariana.”
“Yes, Lady Evelyn.”
“We will carry this.”
“No. How am I?”
Evelyn suddenly held out her hands.
“I have both hands fine. But would you dare to ask a close friend to carry my luggage?”
“That’s right. Mr. Ariana. We will take this.”
“If that’s what you two mean, I understand.”
The two elves who received the bag from Ariana.
And as Evelyn looked at the uniform inside her, she secretly suppressed her laughter and her face twitched.
‘Won’t you be surprised if I show up in my school uniform?’
Festival.
Allen’s underling and according to information she heard from her brother.
The festival will be held in the next two weeks.
Then, wouldn’t it be possible to secretly enter the school uniform and enjoy the festival with Allen?
“I look forward to it…”
Evelyn, speaking to herself inaudibly, laughs at her school uniform.
****
“Are you eating well?”
“I guess it’s because it’s delicious.”
“No matter how delicious it is… Isn’t 20 plates too many?”
Plates piled up. And even the waiters and customers clearing the piles of plates with a surprised expression.
I was holding my lunch while observing etiquette, but the stacked plates felt a bit disjointed.
Christine was curious. She wondered what kind of camouflage it was.
Even within the Order of the Knights, she had never seen a tooth that roamed the world and ate a lot.
But it wasn’t quite like this.
“If you eat like that, won’t you lose weight?”
“You seem to have eaten less today? And it’s okay because I exercise that much.”
After saying that, Allen raised her hand again and ordered the waitress to cook.
“Are you going to eat again?”
“I don’t eat much breakfast.”
Did a total of thirty-five plates become empty like that?
Allen drank the water with an expression saying, “I’m finally full.”
Christine quenches her throat with a look of how the hell did she eat all of that.
“Now that we’ve finished eating, where shall we go?”
“Next? Didn’t we just eat and break up…?”
In response to Christine’s stupid answer, Allen stood there blankly for a few seconds, then she laughed and said,
“Are we going to just eat and break up? Why don’t you go for a little walk to digest it?”
“Uh? Is that so?”
“If you don’t like it, there’s nothing you can do about it.”
“Oh, no. Let’s walk I like to walk.”
“Then go out first. I’ll do the math.”
“No. I am a teacher, so I have to buy it.”
“You don’t like it? I recommended it, so it’s right for me to live.”
The two of them quarreled over a calculation problem for a while.
Eventually, convinced by Allen, Christine quietly left the restaurant, after which Allen paid her bill and left the restaurant.
“Because I count.”
“Then next time Miss Christine will buy it for you. Are you okay then?”
“Okay. Instead, if you eat a lot like before… A little by the way. Should I be careful?”
“No way. Be considerate of a growing boy.”
“That’s interesting. Even after eating that much, I still don’t feel hungry.”
Christine, with a meaningful tone, slightly bent her waist and looked at Allen’s intact stomach.
“Would you like to touch it? Did it come out or not?”
“Hey, he’s a manly man. How can I…”
Christine, who hurriedly straightens his lower back, wiggles his fingers as if slightly embarrassed.
“Then shall we walk?”
“Okay, let’s walk.”
The sun was clear. However, the clouds did not.
‘Is it going to rain?’
It was unusual to see gloomy dark clouds coming from afar, riding the wind.
