## Chapter 1558 – Chronicles of the Black-Haired Foreigner – The Demonic God of Another World
I followed the Titan Lord into the interior of the ship.
The surroundings were already devastated, with shattered debris and torn Titan corpses scattered and suspended in the air. The blood vessels and droplets they had spewed out were also frozen in place.
Looking at them, I felt like I had entered some kind of deformed object exhibition hall.
If anyone were to hold such an exhibition, they would undoubtedly be a professional psychopath with a distorted sense of aesthetics. A mad artist lost in their own world.
Of course, I didn’t create this on purpose, so I’m an exception. I’m just saying that’s how it would be if someone intentionally made something like this.
“Crazy object.”
The faces of the exploded Titan corpses, twisted in agony, vividly expressed the emotions of their final moments.
“To freeze the entire ship…”
The Lord muttered in astonishment as he faced the gruesome scene. I incinerated all the corpses that appeared, for the sake of the ship’s aesthetics.
“This is quite a sight to behold.”
In any case, the interior of the ship had a completely different atmosphere from the demon’s aerial fortress, so it was somewhat interesting to see.
It’s certainly fascinating. That they achieved such a civilization. But how could these guys be taken advantage of so easily? It’s incomprehensible.
“Ah, but something like this happened a long time ago.”
“What…?”
“Suddenly, a massive fortress or palace-like structure was summoned to our land. It was a structure from another world. Such things occasionally happen.”
“A massive structure… Could it have contained our ancestors?”
Sharp.
I nodded.
“Probably. It must have been all Titans. All the facilities inside were built to giant specifications.”
The corridors were huge. The rooms too. All the miscellaneous items were enormous.
“If so, then it is likely. There have been mentions of some Titan Lords escaping with their entire castles.”
“I see. But there were monsters inside.”
“Mo, monsters, you say?”
“Yeah. A monster made of tentacles or something. It wasn’t very strong, though. In fact, it was quite weak. But those tentacle monsters were a kind of parasitic beast, you know? They would grab humans and turn them into tentacle monsters.”
“Good heavens…”
Petusa was shocked.
“They were all weak except for their leader, so why did the Titans get defeated?”
“That… I do not know. As you know, unknown monsters live in other dimensions, and no one knows what situation our ancestors were in as they drifted through the dimensions.”
Well, there could be many reasons.
“To think our ancestors died so tragically…”
He seemed heartbroken to hear the story. The more I see him, the more human his reactions seem. Is it because they’re sentient? They didn’t seem much different from humans.
They just seemed like really big, human-like beings.
“But what are the other Titans doing?”
“Hmm… Since communications have been cut off, I do not know for sure, but they, like us, are likely searching for a safe world and territory to live in. If they have not been annihilated, they will continue to move towards that goal.”
They might have devoured some unfortunate formation. Killed all the indigenous people of a planet and claimed it as their own land.
“Why not unite?”
“Wouldn’t the chances of survival be higher if we were more scattered?”
“I guess so.”
“Ah, we have arrived. This is the largest library on the ship.”
As we talked and moved, we arrived at our destination. Fortunately, this area was undamaged. I must have hit it really well. That the important places are intact.
—Zhiing.
He used magic to unlock the door, and we entered.
“Oh.”
It was a very large space. Wide and tall. In the center stood a massive silver pillar, which looked very smooth, as if it had not been damaged at all. But I could see all the minute cut surfaces.
“Is the device containing the information stored in that pillar?”
“That is correct.”
Looking closely, I could see Titans wearing non-human tights, fixed near the top of the pillar in a pose that made them seem to be swimming in the air. These guys were even wearing some kind of holographic sunglasses with a deformed structure.
“…!”
“…!”
The guys were making sounds at the sight of us.
“What are those guys? Are they flying around?”
“Ah… They are librarians. Those who manage the pillars of this library… That even they are all fixed in the air…”
“Subduing space is nothing.”
I’m a god, so I should have at least that much skill.
—Sssk.
Anyway, Petusa approached the pillar and touched it.
—Zhiing.
A square pillar-shaped solid popped out from inside with a zhiing sound. It’s a bit too big for an external hard drive, isn’t it? That’s what I thought, but it was infinitely small compared to a Titan’s hand.
“Inside this… is our knowledge.”
“Small. Is this huge pillar made up entirely of those small things?”
“That is correct.”
That’s an enormous amount of information.
How many terabytes of information could be stored in that square pillar?
As far as I know, the total amount of data on Earth is in the zettabyte range, and 1 zettabyte is over 1 billion terabytes.
“How do you access it?”
“With these machines… This machine is very common. You can access the data inside just by inserting it.”
“Is that so?”
—Pachik.
I immediately create a barrier on my palm.
“Th, that is!!!”
I expand the created barrier and shoot it towards the pillar. Like a soap bubble, the barrier swallowed the pillar, and immediately froze everything inside.
And then.
—Sssk.
I shrink it. But it’s not really shrinking, it’s just a trick using dimensions. Anyway, the spherical stasis field, reduced to the size of a soccer ball, was sucked into my world.
“The pillar in an instant!!!”
“Be quiet, I got it safely. Am I taking everything else too?”
“Y, yes… B, but… If you take all the original sources of information in physical form like that…”
“What will happen to you guys?”
At my words, the Titan Lord nodded anxiously.
“…”
His face was stained with fear.
“Hehehe, are you curious about what will happen to you?”
“Y, you said you would spare us! W, we cooperated fully!”
“Hey, you bastard. Who said I’m going to kill you all? Of course, I have to spare you.”
“Then…!”
“Ah. But there will be no need to use this ship again.”
“What does that mean!”
I can’t take the ship with me. In that case, it’s better to just destroy such a burden.
“The ship will be scrapped. It’s useless and awkward to take.”
“What are you saying! W, weren’t you going to spare us?! Please! Please spare us!”
“Who do you think I’m going to spare?”
“Wh, what did you say?”
“How much do you think I’m going to spare? Surely you didn’t expect… all of you to survive after committing such an act?”
“That’s…!”
“First of all, you, you’re the supreme leader, right?”
“Th, that is correct.”
“Then, you bastard, you’re obviously going to die.”
“Heok!!!”
This bastard is the chief person in charge, so he has to die.
“Th, that can’t be! Please! Please spare me! Please, just my life…!”
The giant is begging.
But I don’t give him a break.
“No way, you bastard. You have to die. And damn it, I asked you. Who do you think I’m going to spare? Tell me.”
At my words, Petusa began to rack his brains.
“U, useful technicians?”
“No. Wrong… No. Just guess who’s going to die.”
“Heok…!”
Completely terrified, he mumbled something incoherently. He seemed completely out of his mind, probably because he heard the word ‘die’.
“Hey, you fucking bastard. Can’t you even speak properly?”
“Please! Please spare me!”
“I’m telling you I’ll spare you, you bastard.”
“You mean spare me!!!”
“Hehehe, that’s not going to happen. Hey, but who do you think will live?”
“I don’t know!”
Seriously.
“Calm down and listen. I’ll spare all your kids.”
“Ki… Children, you say?”
“Yeah. Doesn’t that make you feel a little better? Your children can all live. I’ll let them live in your homeland.”
Most of the Titans will die, but I have to spare the children. The kids haven’t really done anything wrong, and they can be properly educated.
“You guys did something that requires a large-scale purge, but I can’t purge all the kids.”
“That’s…!”
“Wasn’t that the nature of the war? You tried to take the planet by war, and if you failed, that’s what happens to you. That’s the way it is, you bastard. Accept it.”
“…!”
Looking at the terrified Petusa, I mentally typed out who else to spare. First of all, I’ll spare the kids. The kids haven’t really done anything wrong, and they can be properly educated.
And then, I’ll kill all the technicians related to monster technology… and the soldiers too. Everyone involved in the Earth attack will be purged.
“So, let’s gather the kids separately and put them in some kind of lifeboat. I’ll let you face your end with the ship.”
“Th, that can’t be…! It can’t be!!!”
—Kuaaaaaaa!
Petusa, who had suddenly screamed hysterically, glared at me and began to unleash some kind of magic as he charged.
“This bastard?”
Of course, it was something that didn’t even require me to lift a finger. A useless resistance. I simply froze him with my gaze, like Medusa.
“Keuheok!”
“What are you doing?”
“To kill everyone except the children! That is too harsh! Tens of thousands of Titans are on this ship! Compared to that, the number of children is…!”
This is merciful enough.
“What you did to Earth was also harsh, you bastard.”
Releasing monsters and such.
“If you do not spare us, I will not cooperate! No matter who you are, you cannot possibly distinguish all the children on board! If you do not intend to kill all the children, please ease the conditions a little!”
“No. Hey. I’m being nice enough to spare the kids, and now you’re taking the kids hostage?”
—Kkwak.
I immediately grabbed his wrist and ignited flames.
“Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!!!”
Petusa screamed as his flesh burned white. I didn’t let go of his wrist and continued to maintain the flames.
“Kyaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!”
“Stop making a fuss and accept it, you bastard. I’ll send you off painlessly because you sang well. I’m trying to send you off comfortably because you cooperated well.”
“Kahaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!”
—Tsupat.
As the flames died down, his scream stopped.
“Heueuk…! Heueuk! Please! Please spare me! At least, how about easing the conditions a little?! Please increase the scope of those you will spare!”
That can’t happen.
“Hehehe, spare you, my ass. Do you think there’s any reason to spare bastards who start wars without thinking?”
These guys could have approached diplomatically instead of waging war. If they were careful, they could have avoided being tracked. They could have gradually exchanged technology and personnel and migrated.
They could have made such peaceful attempts.
But they didn’t.
They attacked first.
In Earth terms, it’s no different from launching a surprise attack without a declaration of war and massacring all the civilians. There’s no reason to spare them. They have to be uprooted. From the start, they thought of humans as a slave race, so that’s clearly what happened.
“Tens of thousands!!! You intend to kill tens of thousands of people!!!”
“Hey, I said that, so why do you keep confirming? And damn it, am I a torturer or something? Gather the kids separately when I’m talking nicely. Let’s go comfortably. Comfortably. The future seeds, the children of hope, are all going to live, but you’re so greedy, you bastard. Are you going to keep making a fuss?”
“Keuheueuk! You’re crazy! You’re crazy! You’re a crazy killer! A demonic god! You are a demonic god (魔神)!”
After classifying the kids, I’ll classify the guys who don’t seem to be related to the war separately. If I gather only the guys I’m going to spare and leave them out.
And then, I have to leave the leaders, the soldiers, and the guys related to the war on the ship and vaporize them.
“Rainbow reflection, you son of a bitch.”
