Chapter 214 – Decisions.
“Well, why don’t we go out first?”
Usher backed away from her, blushing as Helena hugged her.
“I see. Time to be like this… Ugh!”
Helena tried to get up from her seat, but Usher was taken aback by her slumping.
“What’s going on?”
When Lenny, who had been watching outside, came into her room at the sound, Helena hugged Usher and pulled him behind her. He was also ashamed of himself for having wrong thoughts come to mind without fail at the touching touch. It would be nice if only Belka could think of this.
“Catsie!”
When she was wary of her Lenny, Usher stopped her.
“She’s the sister who helped me come this far.”
“Is that true?”
“Really, if it wasn’t for that, the soldiers would have come a long time ago.”
“Aren’t you Catsy? But why?”
Lenny shakes her head when Helena can’t seem to clear her doubts.
“Not all Cattsy follow the royals blindly. If you still don’t believe me, just assume that Yop and I talked to each other.”
“If it’s Yop…”
Those were the words Nausicaa used to address Krikaliev. Only then did Helena let her guard down, and Lenny approached slowly.
“I have to go out first. I’ll help you, so get up slowly.”
“…Thank you.”
Helena broke into a cold sweat as Lennie supported her.
“I haven’t eaten properly for three days, so it’s only natural that I’m like this.”
“For three days!?”
Isn’t that the same amount of time Usher was training with Krikaliev? Usher looked startled and Lenny clicked his tongue.
“Nyaang, don’t even tell me how strong it is. If you listen to the stories of the maids, the spoon disappeared on the first day, so I looked for it just in case, and it sharpened the blade like a knife.”
Helena said she didn’t even eat at all because every time she took care of things like cutlery and crockery. Her usher looked blankly at her and saw her bitterly grinning Helena.
“Is there any way to escape?”
“It was supposed to draw attention from Yoff. We meanwhile…”
However, Lenny’s words were cut off. With her ears perked up and her expression hardened, they realized something was wrong with her.
“Is there a problem?”
“Soldiers are coming here.”
She wondered if she had informed her, but she knew right away that it wasn’t the case as she nervously bit her nails.
“What the hell happened? There must have been still time left.”
“Calm down. Why don’t we run away quickly?”
Helena grabbed Lenny and tried to calm him down, but her footsteps were already close enough to Usher’s ears. The footsteps were coming from both sides as if they surrounded her room. As if they knew of their existence from the beginning. This was a place where the hallways were straight. If they were approaching from both sides, there was no way to escape. As they stood still without saying anything, soon the Cattsy stood in front of the door. Unlike the other Cattsy, a Cattsy entered the room between them, whose face was covered with cold armor and a helmet.
Among them, Usher is nervous about seeing him wearing a lot of small decorations, which looks exceptionally gorgeous, so Lenny takes the lead.
“What are the SS doing here?”
“Sister?!”
Didn’t she say that this place was not under her jurisdiction? It must have been her because she said she shouldn’t get caught. When Usher calls her out for her proud appearance, Helena shakes her head and grabs Usher. They were forced to stay still, and they saw him bowing her head toward them.
“Ison-nim wants you to bring guests.”
“Guest, huh?”
Didn’t Usher say he was wrong about the intruder? I wondered, but I couldn’t see his face hidden by the helmet.
“What do you mean by a guest?”
“Isn’t it polite to forcibly bring in guests these days and lock them up for a few days?”
What’s absurd is that Helena and Lenny seemed the same.
“I apologize if the customer was uncomfortable with the rudeness in the past. So Lenny-sama, please calm down and leave the guests to us.”
At his words, Usher could only stare blankly at Lenny. Surely they said they were the SS, but why did the one who seemed to be their leader exalt her one of her maids?
“What kind of person are you?”
Helena asks her, but Lenny only bites her lip and avoids her gaze. Instead, it was the SS who responded.
“He is Aison-sama’s nephew.”
“Like shut that mouth.”
She lowered her head at her words, but Lenny sighed at the sight of him not backing down.
“It’s okay, so guide me. If you really intend to treat me as a guest, there’s no problem if I go with you, right?”
In the end, they headed somewhere with the members of the SS. He thought he had to get out of here in a hurry, but Usher was dumbfounded at the fact that he was escorted by the Cattsy.
“What the hell happened? If you’re also royalty.”
“Nya. Aren’t humans similar? I’m just an insignificant Cat Sith pushed out of power.”
“…Is that so.”
After their conversation, they soon arrived in front of a large door. One of the guards knocked on the door and shouted.
“Your Highness, I’ve brought guests.”
“Let them in.”
When those who were standing blocking the door opened the door at the sound of someone’s voice, what they saw was Caitsy, dressed in a fancy outfit that anyone could tell that it was the king. Usher was sure from his scarlet hair and fur that he was the cat’s father, and Helena had seen him from afar, so she knew it was Eison from his red cloth and golden crown. But what stood out more than that was the knight sitting at the long table with him.
“Mister?”
“Are you coming now?”
Usher recognized at a glance that he was Krikaliev. Helena could hear her voice and know who it was.
“Why are you here?!”
“How are you?”
Eison gestured as Lenny and Helena were embarrassed to see him sitting at the same table as Eison.
“The guards go away. I have something to say to my guests.”
“Yes.”
The guards who guided them followed his words, closed the door quietly, and withdrew. Soon after they closed the door and disappeared from sight, Lenny frowned.
“They’re still in a bad mood. So Uncle! What the hell is this about?”
As she approached, stamping the floor, Eison raised her hand.
“How about calming down and having a meal first? Your guests probably haven’t even eaten yet.”
“How long are you going to keep saying that irritating tone!”
It was her Krikaliev who stopped her when Lenny argued with her angrily.
“Calm down a little. If you say that, even a normal person won’t be able to say it.”
“Whose side are you on!?”
“Look carefully first, does that nobleman look sane?”
Lenny, puzzled by his words, looked at Aison and backed away startled. His eyes were so unfocused that I couldn’t tell where they were looking, and he didn’t move at all from the last time he moved. Even Usher and Helena couldn’t see him in a very normal state. Who can see such an empty shell without a soul as normal?
“Hey, how did this happen?”
When Lenny stepped away, Krikaliev knocked on the table disapprovingly.
“Stop doing this disgusting thing and crawl out. Damn you son of a bitch.”
“Ha, what’s wrong with using a convenient item in the right place?”
At the sound of the voice, Usher and Helena froze at the same time. It was Jude who appeared behind the king, opening a folding screen large enough to cover the entire wall on one side. He soon found Helena and Usher and smiled crookedly.
“It’s been a while. Helena. Didn’t you miss my arms?”
“Don’t talk nonsense.”
Helena spoke to her in a friendly way and she trembled at him. Usher didn’t pretend to see at all, but she was rather relieved, thinking he was lucky.
“What, what? This man?”
Lenny trembled and glared at him. It was the first time she had seen Jude, but her whole body trembled with the sense of warning, so Jude looked at her absent-mindedly and, as if losing interest in her, stood beside Eison.
“Move away.”
“Yes.”
And even though everyone was surprised to see Aison immediately get up and empty the chair at his words, Jude calmly sat down. Only Krikaliev watched silently, continuing to knock on the table.
“Wasn’t it boring? Sheeta?”
“Are you saying that? No matter how much you do, you hate being under an old man.”
She then crawled out from under the table, a woman she had seen with Jude before.
“Sita?! You must be with Martin.”
She was surprised that Lenny knew her, but Sheeta didn’t even pretend to know her Lenny. She narrowed her eyes rather annoyed, and she played her charms to Jude.
“Nyaang, is it bothersome to do that every time the other guys see you?”
“Yes. You are already mine.”
“…What the hell are you talking about! You weren’t married to Martin?! And why does your uncle obey that man so obediently!?”
Jude frowned as Lenny shouted in confusion.
“Quack-quack, it’s noisy. You can’t recognize it yet, so the level of the Cat Sis is understandable.”
“You understand why Jude is so great?”
Then, Lenny lost her words for a while at the sight of Jude and Sheeta, who looked down on her and looked down on her. As if she had realized something, her face turned blue. So how many people can control people casually? Jude sat back comfortably in his chair as if he was satisfied.
“It’s quieter now.”
Because of this, Usher, who had been quietly observing his surroundings until now, was barely able to open his mouth.
“Mister, what about Belka…?”
No matter how much he searched, he couldn’t find even a single red piece of the girl he was looking for. Have you ever failed? Usher looked at Krikaliev anxiously, and he shook his head.
“When I went to the prince’s room, there was nothing there. All that was there was that bastard’s bad taste.”
Hearing his words, their eyes turned to Jude, and he chuckled.
“It’s been a long time since I’ve had fun. Unlike humans, Catsy’s muscles are tough, but it’s worth grooming them. Unlike dwarves, her body structure is different, so it was quite fresh.”
Jude’s nonchalant talk made them wonder if he really had a hobby of cooking, but soon realized that the object was wrong.
“No way, the prince…”
Lenny covered her mouth to see if she remembered something, and her Helena’s complexion also deteriorated. Usher really doubted whether he was the same person. If that’s true, aren’t you saying that Jude already has experience grooming his fellow humans as if they were cooking?
“Belka, how is Belka?”
Usher shuddered at the thought of what if he had killed the cat that way. Fear was not the only reason. Unknowingly, power went into the sword in my hand. But he never drew his sword.
“That’s what I want to ask.”
Jude’s nervous voice came before him.
“Why did the Paladins take Belka? I think you know that best? Paladin.”
At his angry words, this time everyone’s eyes turned to Krikaliev. Usher had no idea what the hell was going on.
