Chapter 43 – Class S(?) Sorcerer Ajin Kang (16)
The amulets spread across the sky changed into different shapes.
One small knife
One fireball,
The other is a sharp block of ice.
They fell on the three male hunters who attacked me in a straight line.
“Ahh!”
“Keah!”
“Aaaaagh!”
Not a single miss.
All the men screamed as their shoulders were pierced, their bodies set on fire, or their sides ripped.
“It’s okay?”
It was Kang A-jin who opened the car door and came out.
I don’t know where her home is, but she got there much sooner than expected.
“Get on!”
At her words, I got into the passenger seat of the car.
“I know I will die if I come after you!”
Ah Jin Kang said to the three Hunters who were rolling on her floor with dignity.
Her face was cute, and although she wasn’t big, her words were powerful.
Even I was feeling goosebumps.
She wondered if she had used that kind of witchcraft.
Kang Ah-jin yelled at the three henchmen hunters sent by Park Hyeon-joon, and she returned to the driver’s seat.
“Ah!”
She looked at the wound I had on her with a sad expression and put her hand on it.
Unrecognizable characters floated around her palm and seeped into my wound.
Like a lie, the pain went away and my body felt comfortable.
“Thank you.”
Kang Ah-jin said at my greeting.
“You’re really okay, right?”
“Yeah.”
She was on her guard because this and that had happened before he met her.
However, after receiving such great help, her mind was clouded.
“You should have been more careful. The obsession of S-rank hunters is no joke.”
She already seemed to know who sent the men who attacked me.
“It won’t end like this. You’d have to be careful though. You have to think of it as just buying some time.”
“I’m sorry.”
I knew that Kang Ah-jin would not show her face outside of her.
I also understood that her meddling in other people’s affairs did not positively affect what she did.
“Haaa…”
Kang Ah-jin sighed and smiled at me.
“It’s okay. As long as she doesn’t get hurt, that’s enough.”
As I looked at her pure expression, the unpleasant feelings she had towards her that had little lingered were completely gone.
How many times have you been helped?
Leaving aside everything else, I couldn’t deny that.

Kang Ah-jin’s house was much farther than I thought.
But how could she, having set out from her home, reach her destination so quickly?
The secret was revealed while driving.
As her car pulled into a deserted road, a large ring appeared before her eyes.
Complex letters and patterns emerged around it, and a haze bloomed in the center.
As the car passed through the middle of the mugwort, the background had completely changed.
It is surrounded by tall trees, and you can see a mountain rising not far away.
I had a feeling that it would be at least the outskirts of Seoul or Gyeonggi-do.
“I’m here.”
Kang Ah-jin said nonchalantly.
Following her, I got out of the car.
There was nothing here.
There was a large site that would not be strange even if there was a large building, but no building was built on it.
Kang Ah-jin stood up, spread her arms, and muttered something.
Then, something similar to the phenomenon that happened on the road earlier occurred and a large house appeared like a lie.
It was a state-of-the-art architecture that did not match the background.
It looked bigger than Seulbi Kim’s house.
Kang Ah-jin looked behind her and gestured to her.
Then the car moved by itself and the parking lot door opened.
The car went into it by itself.
‘I can’t adapt.’
After meeting Kang Ah-jin, I felt as if I had entered a fantasy world right away.
“Come on in.”
With her I went into her house.
The house was as big as it looked from the outside.
It was not very different from most of the state-of-the-art housing facilities, but the interior was unique.
The colors of the walls and furniture were generally dark, and the picture frames and decorations gave off the impression of totems from an unfamiliar distant land.
“Did you eat?”
For some reason, even when she was in the restaurant, it seemed that Ah-jin Kang was keeping an eye on me, Seul-bi Kim, and Eun-bi Kim, but she asked anyway.
“Yeah. My stomach doesn’t hurt.”
“Then…”
“Let’s start right away. The reason I came here today is to learn witchcraft.”
Sensing that Kang A-jin was trying to pass the time, I said quickly.
It was a pity that I even received help, but I lied to Seulbi Kim and Eunbi Kim and came here.
I thought it wouldn’t be good if the time was too late.
Because their obsession with me is by no means low.
“Is that so…?”
Kang Ah-jin said with a slightly disappointed tone.
“Follow me.”
I followed her down to her basement.
Given the size of the building, it seemed obvious that there would be a basement.
Ajin Kang went to one side of the wall and pressed her button.
Elevator in the house.
Actually, this wasn’t all that strange.
It was because Seulbi Kim was at home.
When I went into the elevator and looked at the button, it was on the third basement level.
Even if one floor was used as a parking facility, it was clear that it was a very large house for a woman to live alone.
Besides, this house didn’t seem to have a separate staff to manage it.
Considering what Kang A-jin has shown so far, I wonder if things like cleaning and cooking can be easily solved with her magic.
The place we went to was the second basement floor.
The feeling there was far from ordinary.
Unlike the living room, which looked normal except for some interior props, this place was completely decorated in a cult style.
It was like a witch’s laboratory in a fantasy or horror movie.
Many paper books filled the walls, and antique furniture filled the space.
Kang Ah-jin snapped her fingers, and the candles lying here and there suddenly lit up.
“Well…”
Am I really okay? I thought.
Of course, Ah-Jin Kang didn’t seem like a bad person to her, and she helped her, but I wondered if she might have decided to come to her house too quickly.
She was basically a woman with many unusual corners, such as permeating the space and even peeping at others.
‘Because it’s worth learning though.’
The more I got to know her, the more I became greedy for her witchcraft.
And without a doubt, Kang A-jin was the one who could teach that best in Korea.
It was a lesson she couldn’t take, no matter how much she paid for it.
Shall we say that it is a privilege that many aspiring shamans across the country can never receive?
“Sit.”
Kang A-jin pointed at me towards her table and said.
I sat down in a chair with a design that was both antique and old-fashioned.
As Jin Kang flicked her finger in the air a few times, several thick books of hers were pulled from the bookshelf and flew this way.
It was spread out on the appropriate page and placed on the table.
What was written in it was not entirely strange text.
It wasn’t English, I thought maybe it was Latin.
Why are you showing me this book?
How do I read this?
Kang Ah-jin sat across from me.
When I saw her begin her explanation, she understood why she had to open a book I couldn’t interpret.
The sentence she ran with her finger was translated into Korean.
Some scenes reminded me of images like holograms, which was very strange and interesting.
I felt like I could understand better.
I was ecstatic that I could receive lessons in such a kind way from such a first-class shaman.
However, after the lecture lasted about 10 minutes, Kang Ah-jin and I both felt uncomfortable.
It was also a typical mistake made by novice teachers who had not taught students.
It didn’t seem like Kang A-jin was trying to teach difficultly on purpose, but she set her level too high in the first place.
And it never occurred to me that I could do this.
This was due to a fundamental problem.
Because I’m in D class.
The level of magic that can be used is very low.
According to what I personally found out, most of the people who awakened as shaman seemed to be at the level of A or higher.
At first, it was common for people to think they were hunters and receive a grade check and later convert, but from what I saw, there was no case where they were judged as grade B.
In other words, there was a basic premise that even the lowest level of sorcery could only be used at that level.
It’s probably the first time that a D-class hunter suddenly has the ability to understand witchcraft.
“Well…”
Kang A-jin also seemed to be aware of the fundamental problem.
She closed her book and thought for a moment before snapping her finger.
Then the open book was closed and flew back to the bookshelf.
This time another book was pulled out and flew here.
When she saw it from afar, she thought it was just another book, but when she saw it unfolded before her eyes, something was different.
When the cover was opened, it contained a bundle of amulets.
