#0. Deceased
I just died.
How did I die, you ask? Struck by a car experiencing sudden acceleration while crossing the crosswalk.
I remember it all clearly. The paramedics performing CPR, the doctor rushing over in a flurry, the pronouncement of death.
Even the guardian’s seat, remaining unoccupied for three hours.
That’s how I died.
“Oh, spirit who met an unfair end, are you content with this?”
I thought death was the end, but apparently not.
“Wouldn’t you like to live a second life?”
Before my eyes stood a goddess. A truly beautiful goddess.
She extended her hand to me with a gentle expression. I felt blinded by her halo.
“…”
To be honest, I had thought about it before.
That perhaps another world would be better than this godforsaken 21st-century Korea.
“I’ll grant you the chance to reincarnate with exactly one thing you desire.”
I nodded without hesitation.
The goddess smiled in response.
“What will you take with you?”
I answered.
“ChatGPT.”
