77. Double the Script, Double the Joy

As I had to take action to protect Lin Ke’s safety, I did manage to prevent the pure white nun, Uralis, from directly attacking her, but the subsequent move by the Sword Saint, Ludwig, to “finish her off” truly startled me!

Fortunately, the elven sorceress, Iluxir, didn’t remain indifferent just because she was following her “sisters.” She acted as we had agreed, stepping in when necessary, not only temporarily resolving Lin Ke’s danger but also allowing me to feel a bit more at ease regarding the success or failure of the entire plan.
