Chapter 393 – Wash Every Nook and Cranny
“Then I will stop here for a moment.”
After entering the complex, Mina stopped her car in front of Yena’s apartment. Then she turned her head to me with the dark car windows in the background.
“Jiheon. Will Jiheon take me there?”
“Oh, okay.”
I nodded lightly and looked back. There was a sister who had fallen asleep from exhaustion and Jena, who had just woken up. Said in a sweet voice to the child who rubbed her eyes with her sleepy face.
“Yena, are you awake now?”
“Yes…”
“Okay, then let’s go home. I have to go home and see my mom and grandma.”
“Yeah…”
Answering in her sleepy voice, Yena looked around her left and right. On either side she found her sister, who had fallen asleep, and asked me.
“Mister. Are all your sisters sleeping?”
“Then will you come over here? Be careful, don’t wake your sisters.”
“Yes.”
After waking up to some extent, Jena pushed her body between the passenger seat and the driver’s seat. I put my hand in her armpit and gently lifted her up so that Jena could come.
“It’s okay.”
With a light cheer, Jena entered between my legs. Her small and light body fit comfortably in my arms, and I briefly stroked her hair covered with such a child’s thin hair.
“Hi-Hi”
Then Yena tilted her head back with her smile and looked up at me. I also made eye contact with the child for a while and said.
“Then shall we get off?”
“Yes.”
“Okay. Wait for a sec.”
I whispered in response to the child’s small reply and opened the car door. She let Jena get off first, and then I got off too.
Before closing the door, I lowered my head to make eye contact with Mina, who was sitting in the driver’s seat.
“It’s Mina. Because I think it will take some time. I’m closing my eyes.”
“It’s okay, Jiheon.”
“It’s okay. You are almost closing your eyes now.”
At my words, Minah opened her eyes and said.
“Don’t lie, Jiheon.”
She was so cute, so I smiled and replied.
“Keep your eyes closed. What are you going to do if you drowsy driving? We will all get hurt.”
When the story of the accident came out, Mina seemed to understand. She nodded her head lightly.
“Yes, I understand. Come on, Jiheon.”
“Okay. Then get some sleep.”
Having said this, I closed the door and held out my hand to Jena.
“Yena. Shall we hold hands?”
“Yes!”
I walked toward the apartment with Jena, now fully awake. Even though it was a little past 7 o’clock, the sun had not completely set, so a scarlet sunset set in the parking lot.
It was completely different from the day I came to see Yena with Taeyeon. It was quite chilly at the time, so a coat was essential, and it wasn’t this bright. And above all,
“Mister. Let’s go play together again next time!”
I didn’t expect Yena to smile so brightly when she saw me.
“Yes, then.”
I smiled at Jena, who smiled brightly. Then he gently held her fern-like hand in hers.
“Then let’s go to an amusement park! Have you ever been to an amusement park?”
“Well, it looks like he went.”
“What is that, really? Sure, next time, just the two of us!”
“Uh?”
“Mister! Stairs, stairs!”
Yenna turned her attention to the stairs, so she couldn’t ask back what she had just heard.
Jena got into the elevator and she kept talking until she reached the front door. Looking at her excitement, she was in a good mood, but it was very hard because her spirit was sucked.
“Ah! Mister! We have arrived!”
She almost laughed in relief when she arrived at the familiar front door.
“Okay?”
Hiding the raised corners of her mouth with her kindly smile, she said to Jena.
“Then shall we call your mother now?”
“You don’t have to call!”
“Uh?”
“You can do this, man!”
Jena opened the door lock cover on her front door. Then she didn’t even care what I saw and she entered the password.
Beep beep beep beep beep! Clap!
It’s her own house, but seeing her arbitrarily entering the password, her demon king came to mind for a moment. In a way, she seemed to know why Yena became friends with her.
Unlocking her, Jena immediately grabbed her doorknob and turned it. She cried as she opened the door and entered her house.
“I went on a picnic aaaaa!”
When she entered the house, she saw the excited Jena and followed me. But that didn’t work.
“Oh, are you here?”
It was Taeyeon who responded to Yena’s voice that spread throughout her house. She had just come out of her bathroom, naked and wearing nothing, wiping her hair with her towel.
“Did you enjoy the picnic? Did Jiheon listen to what Mr. Jiheon said?”
“Huh!”
“Okay. Then let’s wash our hands and eat. Grandma says she’s coming a little late.”
Taeyeon didn’t notice my presence because of the towel she covered her hair with. She tried to sneak out of her house before she knew I was there, but an excited Jena prevented it.
“Mister! Uncle is eating with us too!”
“!”
“Uh, um… ?”
At what Yena said, I hurriedly opened the door and tried to leave. But it was faster for Taeyeon to lower the towel.
“… Fuck?”
When she found me, she didn’t seem to understand the situation. But after a few seconds, she asked, subtly lowering the towel she was using to wipe her hair.
“What.”
“Uh?”
“What?”
Taeyeon’s face was calm as she asked, but her eyes were trembling like an earthquake. She finally covered her body with a towel, and then she asked again.
“You, were you there?”
“Ah, yes. There was.”
“Okay? I didn’t know.”
With that said, she turned her body towards the door to the master bedroom right next to the bathroom. Only the sides of her were roughly covered, leaving her twitching hips exposed.
“!”
I hurriedly turned my head and a few seconds later I heard the door slam shut. When I looked at the place where Taeyeon was, she was not there, only the door to the master bedroom that was tightly closed.
Meanwhile, Jena, the main culprit of the situation, approached me as I was still standing on the porch.
“Mister. Uncle is coming too.”
“Uh, uh…”
Unaware of the importance of this situation, Yena’s eyes lit up. She couldn’t even scold a child who seemed ignorant, and it was crazy.
Grabbing Jena’s hand, I half-forced my way into the house.
“Mister. Wash your hands Otherwise, my mother will be angry.”
Jena, who took me to her bathroom, went in first and put on her children’s slippers. I pointed to her washbasin as I put on the adult slippers spread across it.
“It’s about washing every nook and cranny. You can’t just wash it off, okay?”
“Yes. Okay.”
“Uncle, come to my side.”
Standing in front of her sink, Jena lifted her tiptoe and turned on her faucet. She wets her hands with running water, takes her soap and makes enough lather.
And I gently washed her hands beside him. She was looking at the bathroom where Taeyeon had been showering just before.
That’s how they washed her hands together, then Taeyeon opened the door to her bedroom and came out. Dressed in a police tracksuit, she called out to Jena through the open bathroom door.
“Yena.”
“Yes, Mom.”
Yena smiled brightly, not knowing what was going to happen to her. Taeyeon said to her daughter with a firm smile.
“If Jiheon is with you, you have to talk. Is not it?”
“Yea, I got it. I’ll tell you next time.”
“Okay? But mom, you’re talking now, not next time? Right now?”
“Uh uh…”
Only then did Jena realize the seriousness of the situation. The child looked at her mother with her puzzled face, then she turned her gaze to me. As if I was going to save this situation.
Originally, I would have been nothing more than a retardant. A retardant that delays the time when Jena will be scolded. But today was different. There was a justification today that could make this work fuzzy.
“Taeyeon.”
Encouraged by Yena’s desperate eyes, she looked at Taeyeon.
“Taeyeon. Shall we have dinner together tonight?”
“What?”
At my words, she frowned. It seemed more embarrassing than distasteful.
“You want to have dinner together?”
“Huh. Minah, Sohee, and Sehee are all down there, right? Let’s have dinner with them. Together at Minah’s house.”
“No, that is, uh. Wait for a sec. Let me think for a moment.”
Taeyeon forgot to get angry and thought for a moment with a puzzled face. She thought, wrinkled between her brows, and after a few seconds, she finally opened her mouth.
“By the way, I don’t have a mother today so I have no one to look after me.”
“Then let’s eat together. With Yena.”
“Really?”
Yena, who was washing her hands and wiping her hands with a towel, was delighted with a smile. It was obvious that he would get scolded, but if it was delayed, anyone would have done it.
“Can I go too?”
“I haven’t decided to go yet, Jeong Ye-na. Don’t drink kimchi soup.”
“Yes…”
However, Taeyeon was not aware of this. As her Santa Claus knows everything, so does her mother.
Taeyeon, who had warned her daughter in a low voice, asked me again.
“Did you come here for that?”
“It sounds a little strange. Uh, it is.”
“What are you going to eat?”
At those words, Jenna smiled a little. Glancing at the child, I said to Taeyeon.
“I haven’t decided yet. Or will you decide?”
“…”
“Minah will pay.”
“Let’s eat sashimi.”
She smiled and looked at Taeyeon, who immediately replied to the question of paying. Then she told me one more important thing.
“Are you going to drink too?”
“Hey, you know.”
“So, I’m going to sleep over at Mina’s house.”
At my words, Taeyeon thought about it once again. I asked to put an end to the trouble.
“What time do you have to go to work tomorrow?”
“Because tomorrow night,”
“Then let’s play all night. The five of us, together.”
“Oh, what should I do, really?”
Taeyeon was confused and couldn’t answer easily. But even if she said that, her body was honest, and a smile appeared on her lips when she said it.
