Soon after, a group with Minwoo, including Kim Kyung-tae, Jo Min-ah, and Jung Mi-young, arrived. After a simple greeting and conversation, the professor came in and the lecture started.

I listened to the lecture, had lunch, and moved to another place to listen to the lecture. “Did you wait a long time?”

“No. About five minutes?”

“Okay. I have some time left. Shall we go and have a cup of coffee? Or should I go now?”

“Let’s just go. I drank too much coffee today.”

Listening to what Yuna said as she moved, she says, was that she mingled back and forth between groups of two to four sororities, which led her to drink coffee every time. Yuna smiled brightly, saying that she had many girlfriends in her department. She was probably trying to keep what Minwoo said. Seeing Yuna like that, Minwu felt her heart warm for some reason.

Minwoo and Yuna, who arrived at the lecture hall early, sat side by side in the chairs placed in the middle of the window. Over time, the number of students gradually increased. And soon the professor came in.

“My name is Lim Jong-yoon, and I am in charge of reading and discussion lectures. Are there any students who would like to change classes? This lecture requires cooperative assignments, so skipping in the middle will damage the group. Today is the first day, so I’ll just make a group to do a cooperative task together and finish it. Make groups of 3 to 5 people. Students who want to change classes are automatically dropped out.”

He was a tough professor. Minwoo looked around. The only person I knew in this classroom was Yuna, but when they asked me to form a group of three or more, I had no choice but to let someone I didn’t know join. Minwoo, who was looking around, met the eyes of a pair of men and women sitting next to him who were also looking for someone to join.

“Will you join us over there? Are there two of you?”

“Thank god. My name is Jaehyuk Park. This is Noseong. We are both seniors majoring in Japanese Language and Literature.”

“Nice to meet you. My name is Lee Min-woo, and I am a first-year student in the Department of Korean Language and Literature. This is Yuna Kim, a freshman in the Department of English Language and Literature. Since you are a senior, please speak comfortably.”

“Then I guess it’s all over. Choose a leader from each group, write down the names, and submit them to me now. I will only do that for today.”

In the group that Minwoo belongs to, Jehyeok became the leader. And I wrote down a list of four people and submitted it. This concludes all lectures for today.

“You two. Anything to see after this?”

After the lecture, it was discussed that Minwoo would go back together, so there was no need to ask Yuna about the schedule.

“Then, since we are going to work on a cooperative project together, shall we have a meal together? Although it is a little early.”

“Yuna. Are you okay?”

The four of them moved together. Since I was in my fourth year, I knew the area around the university well. We were guided to a hidden spot that is not complicated and the food tastes good. Minwoo remembered something similar in the past.

The menu was only tonkatsu and udon, and the food was as delicious as the two recommended. We ate and continued the conversation. As a result, we got to know each other to some extent.

Je-hyeok and Seong-eun are high school alumni and have been dating ever since. I applied for the same department at the same university and got accepted. And that relationship continued even after I came to college, and I’ve been dating for over 5 years so far. I didn’t explain in detail, but when I heard the story of the two, it seemed like they were living together now.

“Then hyung hasn’t been to the army yet?”

“I know. I didn’t want to break up with Seong-eun, so I put it off every day, so I came this far. I plan to go when I graduate.”

Minwoo thought that by that time, it would be more difficult for her to break up with her. But it wasn’t that he couldn’t understand what Jehyeok was saying. He knew he would be worried if he said that he would leave Yuna behind and go to the army. Even now, there were many times when he felt anxious even being away for a while.

“You two have known each other since childhood. Are you dating now?”

“No. Not yet.”

The word ‘not yet’ came out of Minwoo’s lips naturally. I didn’t say it consciously, but when I took it out, I was embarrassed. He glanced to the side, and Yuna’s face was slightly reminded, as if it were the same. Looking at the two of them, Je-hyeok and Seong-eun also smiled at the young two, wondering how much they knew about the relationship between them.
