Our Atonement

They lurk in the forest. They lurk quietly in the dark forest. It’s been four years since humans with multiple DNAs first appeared in the city. “Noooooooooo!!!!” The first incident involved a man with lion and hawk DNA. He attacked a couple, leaving the woman dead and the man alive but severely injured. As the days passed, more and more of them began to appear in the city. The creatures that appear only in Japan come to be known as “Ajin,” a race that resembles humans but has different physical characteristics. From this, a year after the incident, the “Ajin Organization” was born. They have one goal: “protect good Ajin and exterminate bad Ajin.” A group of protesters who do nothing but talk loud, Ajin victims who will never return, and surviving families with wounds that will never be lost. But even so, the Ajin Organization continues to protect good Ajin and exterminate bad Ajin. Is it for atonement, to correct oneself, or to get revenge?

Our Atonement

They lurk in the forest. They lurk quietly in the dark forest. It’s been four years since humans with multiple DNAs first appeared in the city. “Noooooooooo!!!!” The first incident involved a man with lion and hawk DNA. He attacked a couple, leaving the woman dead and the man alive but severely injured. As the days passed, more and more of them began to appear in the city. The creatures that appear only in Japan come to be known as “Ajin,” a race that resembles humans but has different physical characteristics. From this, a year after the incident, the “Ajin Organization” was born. They have one goal: “protect good Ajin and exterminate bad Ajin.” A group of protesters who do nothing but talk loud, Ajin victims who will never return, and surviving families with wounds that will never be lost. But even so, the Ajin Organization continues to protect good Ajin and exterminate bad Ajin. Is it for atonement, to correct oneself, or to get revenge?
