Chapter 27 – Treasure Hunt
Episode 27 – Treasure Hunt
One late night, after returning to the dormitory after training, I could see Abel and Yas putting their heads together in the room.
As I tilted my head in puzzlement, Yasu, feeling popular, turned his head to greet me.
“Oh, friend! You’ve arrived just in time. Could you take a look at this? “Abel are you okay?”
“Huh. “I want to hear your opinion too.”
What they held out with a worried expression was an old map.
The overall picture is very familiar.
‘Isn’t this one of the hidden pieces?’
The dungeon written on the map is quite difficult, but the reward is an artifact that can be used like soup until the mid to late game.
Normally, you would have to obtain this map by completing a prerequisite quest, but why is it in Abel’s hands?
‘Something seems suspicious.’
As I narrowed my eyes and looked down at the map in silence, Yasu asked quietly.
“Why aren’t you saying anything? “Do you know anything?”
“… “Where did you get this?”
I completely ignored Yass.
In response to the question, Abel seemed awkward and scratched the back of her head before explaining.
“I actually just got it by accident. While I was walking down the street, the wind suddenly blew me away and I looked at it and it turned out to be a treasure map. I’ve been trying to find the owner for a few days, but I haven’t heard from the lost and found center. Ahaha…”
Abel made an awkward expression, as if it bothered him that he was using other people’s things carelessly.
‘Personality doesn’t go anywhere.’
Although he is just, he is very curious and there is never a time when he doesn’t get involved when an incident occurs. Thanks to that, I was able to experience real combat and grow up to become a warrior in the end.
I decided to relieve Abel of his guilt.
“I don’t know if this is a real treasure map. “I think I know roughly where it’s pointing.”
“Wow! “Are you a great friend?”
“If this is really where the treasure is hidden, the owner would have already made a copy. “Maybe this is a copy.”
“Really? Thank god. Luan, you’re amazing!”
Does it feel strange to be called by your name by Abel?
I concluded briefly as I watched Abel sigh in relief.
“So you won’t have to worry too much. If you get your hands on the treasure first, it means that the original owner did not have the ability to take it.”
“I see! Thank you. Thanks to you, I feel relieved. Yass. “Then how about we go pick up the treasure this Saturday?”
“It’s good! Friend. “Are you going to go with your friend?”
The two people agreed on their opinions turned to me.
Only you know where the treasure is! We definitely need you!
I understand everything I want to say without having to say it in words. But unfortunately, I had no intention of joining this party.
‘Even if we stay together, we’ll just get caught up.’
It is clear that someone deliberately leaked the treasure map to Abel.
And there is a high probability that someone is a possessor.
In order to figure out the identity, it is much better to observe the situation from a distance than to mix in with the same group.
“I refuse. “I don’t have time for that.”
“What? Friend, why are you like this? You came all the way here and fell out? Then, someone guide us!”
“I’ll write down the location so you can find it yourself. “It’s not that complicated.”
“Hey, lie! If it had been easy to find, I wouldn’t have left the treasure map. Let’s go together. Huh?”
Yas kept nagging like a child.
Finally, when my patience reached its limit, Abel quickly stopped Yas.
“Yass. Stop. You’ll be busy. Let’s do it ourselves.”
“Hmm… Should I? “If I had Luan, I wouldn’t have to get lost.”
Yas stepped down with regret.
The situation settled down to some extent, and I left a few words before leaving.
“By the way, it’s a secret that I was the one who told you about the map. Tell everyone else you figured it out. Do you understand?”
“What? Friend. Is that okay?”
“It has to be that way. The only reason it’s bothersome is because it’s a specification. Then I sleep. “Don’t make noise.”
Using sleep as my weapon, I blocked Yas’s mouth and lay down on the bed.
‘I need to change my training schedule.’
I didn’t want to do this for the second week, but I had to tell Cain to postpone it until Sunday.
Besides that, I need a surveillance magic tool to keep a close eye on Abel and his group, but I’m having a hard time knowing where to get one.
I slowly fell asleep while thinking about the things I had to do tomorrow.
*
Early in the morning, a group of students gathered in front of the academy campus.
There were a total of four people: Abel, Yas, Yuni, and Alyssa.
“Thanks everyone for coming! Especially Alyssa. “I’ll take care of you this time.”
“It’s okay. I just came because I was interested. If you’re going to decide, do it to Uni. “If it wasn’t for uni, I wouldn’t have participated.”
“Huh! Thank you too Uni. “You did really well.”
“Hi! To this extent. It might be dangerous, so we should be as prepared as possible.”
Uni didn’t even know how to decline Abel’s praise and smiled brightly and shyly.
Meanwhile, Yasu, who was looking at the map, shouted.
“Then let’s go right away! “The place written on the map isn’t that far away.”
“Oh, yes! Yass. Please guide me.”
Since Luan needs to be kept a secret, Alyssa and Yuni have been told that Yasu knows the location.
Yas led everyone to the location explained by his grumpy roommate.
Meanwhile, the group was divided into two.
The male team was at the forefront, followed by the female team.
“Alyssa. You know what she learned in her magic management class on Tuesday. Have you mastered it?”
“So so? “It’s not that difficult once you get used to it.”
“Really? Then can you tell me tomorrow? “I’m a little confused.”
“Okay. “Come to my room tomorrow.”
As the two girls were chatting affectionately, Abel, who was walking alongside Yas, suddenly asked a question as if he were puzzled.
“But yas. “Why are you quiet today?”
“Huh? What do you mean?”
“You usually talk a lot about women. I want to make a lover. To be honest, when I saw Alyssa, I thought she would be very uncomfortable.”
“Oh, that? “You didn’t see it then?”
“Huh? “At that time?”
“During the placement test. At that time, Alyssa killed Luan very brutally. I don’t know what happened to those two, but I don’t want to do that anyway. Wow, I get goosebumps even thinking about it now.”
Yass shook his shoulders.
As Abel watched her reaction her, he suddenly remembered her memory her from her class placement test her.
‘Now that I think about it, you were looking for Luan then, right?’
I didn’t know it at the time, but the facial expression that Alyssa described was exactly the same as Luan’s. In the end, it looks like she found her then and really killed her.
She was curious about what happened between the two, but Abel suppressed her curiosity.
Even though he grew up in a rural village and had little experience, he didn’t know that there was no good point in digging in too hastily.
It’s just a little disappointing.
‘I hope we get along well.’
I don’t know when that will happen, but I hope they resolve their feelings and reconcile.
It was when Abel was praying inside her.
“We have arrived!”
Yasu looked back and forth between the map and the surroundings and shouted with confidence.
Uni and Alyssa, who were away, approach.
“Yass. Is that really true?”
“Huh. But the recorded location seems underground. “What should I do?”
Abel answered Yas’ question.
“Then there’s probably some device nearby. Let’s all find it together.”
This is an alley on the outskirts away from the center.
Following Jabel’s instructions, the group separated from each other and began looking around.
Not long after, Alyssa finds the device.
“Is this it?”
She looked puzzled as she pressed the tiles that protruded strangely on her floor.
It was a little stiff, but as I applied more force, the tiles went in, and with the sound of numerous mechanical devices moving, the floor split and a staircase was revealed.
Immediately the group gathered together.
“Oh, Alyssa. That’s amazing!”
“It’s the stairs. “I guess this is the road to the underground.”
“Alyssa is the best! “It was a good thing I brought you here!”
Yuni decided to bring Alyssa, so she smiled and crossed her arms, as if she was proud of herself.
Alyssa didn’t care and looked at her stairs.
“The stairs aren’t very long. It seems like the passage continues, so I have to be careful.”
“Huh. I will stand in the front. After that, follow me in that order: Alyssa, Uni, and Yas. Then let’s go!”
Abel gave instructions to everyone using her natural leadership, which she did not even know about.
The group all formed a formation without protesting and went down the stairs.
It was the beginning of dungeon exploration.
*
“Good. We entered.”
Finally, the party took their first step into the dungeon.
Currently, I was sitting in a corner of a quiet coffee shop, sipping coffee, and watching Abel and his group with the magic tool I borrowed from Deborah.
This is thanks to the tracking and eavesdropping device installed inside Yas ‘her clothes her.
It was a good thing I borrowed it from Deborah.
As I watched the group enter the dungeon, I clicked my tongue again.
‘I never thought Alyssa would be there.’
It was a given that we became friends from the time we were in the same class, but I never thought we would become close enough to join the party.
Of course, there was virtually no friendship with Abel, and the meeting took place purely thanks to Yuni’s request for her.
I was planning to intervene in case of danger, but I think I can feel at ease a little. If Alyssa is there, the attack will go smoothly.
“Anyway, the magic tool’s performance is amazing?”
I tapped the glasses I was wearing.
To others, it may have looked like I was simply wearing glasses, but to my eyes, the location of the group and the surrounding terrain were clearly revealed.
It’s expected, but I think he brought Roxana’s magic tool.
The conversation from that time passes through my mind.
-Deborah. Please lend me one magic tool.
-Yes? Suddenly?
-Huh. Something needed happened. I’ll give it back to you right away.
-Why me? The transaction was completed with the request I made last time!
-So you don’t like it? Do you want to be like the future?
-See, see… A really bad person.
I don’t know exactly what kind of future she saw, but Deborah gave in as soon as she was threatened by asking if she wanted to be like the future.
Even now, whenever I think of a crying face with its mouth pouting, I can’t help but burst into laughter.
‘In a strange way, I feel like bullying.’
I’ve never been like this when playing a game, so has something that happened in just over a month changed me like this?
It’s unknown.
After reflecting on myself for a moment, I came to my senses and looked out the window.
“Where do you want to be…” ” .”
What I’m looking for is Pernia.
Suin, the cat who always clung to Abel and his group, was absent today.
It may be a coincidence, but it may be Pernia who planned this incident. If my guess is correct, he will definitely be watching from around here.
What is the truth?
I hope it’s not the worst assumption I’ve ever made.
