Chapter 194 – Gift (10)

Isabelle and Elena were hurrying upstairs. I didn’t wake it up, but I could feel the ceiling moving. Sofia tried to sneak her way to the door, but when she caught the elf’s intense gaze, she hid herself behind her couch. The elf took another step back and said.

“I thought you were a good person. He was the devil’s minion? Was lending me money a ploy to gain access to the other party?”

The elf looked at me with a really displeased expression. I had a lot to say in response to her question. First of all, I didn’t know exactly who she was, and she didn’t even care about her ‘her company’. Even if it had some purpose. How could she ever sit in her butcher shop predicting that the elf would eat six servings of her meat at her butcher shop and she wouldn’t pay.

And I never even offered to lend money.

“You mean bastard! Are you trying to take advantage of people’s goodwill in this way?”

Unlike her noble appearance, the elf was foul-mouthed. She points at me and she steps back as she once again reaches for her waist. But she couldn’t get out of the gate and hit her head against it.

It was because the gate that was supposed to be open was closed.

With a puzzled look on her face, she checked the mousetrap that slipped behind her and put on a bewildered look.

“Petunia Titi.”

Milia reached out her hand, calling her unique name. A glowing magic circle rose up around her body. At a speed faster than that of an arrow, she began to fire bullets at each magic circle. The elf named Petunia Titi escaped her desperation, rolling her body with her bewildered face.

With a heavy roar, a hole in the door and wall was pierced. Shouted Elena, who had watched the house fall apart from the second floor, wrapping her head around it.

“Oh, no… !”

Isabelle hugged Elena and began to soothe her.

“It’s okay Elena! We have a lot of money now, so we can fix it!”

And downstairs, Sophia, who had been lying flat for fear of being hit by a bullet attack, rolled her body, and when she saw Petunia flying over to her, she screamed in fright.

“Hyaaaaagh! Lord, Master! Caught by an elf! Help me!”

“No…”

Petunia looked around her, a little taken aback by her cry, and Milia said with a frown on her face.

“It was really bad-. Is the woman who was once a Hero’s party now blackmailing a cute girl as a hostage?”

A group of warriors? I pushed Kelly into her safe bathroom and turned her around. Petunia Titi screamed with her bewildered face.

“Oh no! And who are you? How do you know my identity?”

Millia answered Petunia’s question like this.

“Because I was in the Demon Realm when the former Demon King was alive. I even sprayed a montage on the heavyweights to kill them if I ever meet them, but there’s no way they wouldn’t recognize it, right? Hero’s group. Elven archer. Petunia Titi.”

Wasn’t the reason I went to the funeral simply because I was a friend of Fabian’s? Was she a member of the hidden hero group? Petunia asked with a face full of discomfort.

“…How far do you know?”

Millia asked as if it were strange to be her question.

“…What do you mean? Didn’t you kill the devil and break up? I don’t know what to say.”

“…That’s it, then.”

At Milia’s answer, Petunia blushed and nodded her head, then she grabbed Sofia by the collar. She then tossed us at us and then she kicked her back towards the window. Milia looked at her and thought of something, then she said with a sullen smile.

“Ah, right. Come to think of it, the reason why only the elf went back alone in the hero party that captured the demon king…”

“Wow! Waaaaagh!”

Petunia screamed as if she had been hit with a stimulant, then grabbed her dagger from her waist and threw it. Her dagger, which she flew with sharp momentum, was menacing, but not too far away from her avoidance. I half-learned to let my instincts evade the daggers shooting in all directions, and Millia drew a circle in the air and slammed her shield to block the dagger.

Perhaps because it was such a sharp and powerful dagger, it cut through half of Millia’s shield.

Millia grinned at the daggers floating in her air, and Petunia clicked her tongue and pulled her bow from her back. The dagger fell to the floor. I picked up a dagger stuck in the wall and threw it at Petunia.

She leaned her entire body sideways as if the floor was collapsing, and from that position she fired an arrow at me.

“Chew!”

The moment I thought I had bounced the bow, I instinctively fell to the floor. There was no sound of arrows passing, but there was the sound of walls collapsing and splinters of wood flying in all directions. Millia, who reached out to stop me, made a puzzled expression while holding her hand.

After a beat, a strong wind blew up. Sofas and furniture floated up and were sucked into the hole. We had no choice but to face the blowing wind with our faces and bodies covered. When the strong wind passed, only fragments of trees and trash remained in the lobby on the first floor.

Neither Elena nor Isabel cared more about the furniture. The huge hole that seemed to have been intentionally cut out and the ruined house were so unrealistic. Petunia once again drew her arrow towards us. As Millia and I each turned in different directions, she took out another arrow of her own and said,

“You don’t think you’ve ever guessed the kids who run away?”

And as she drew her bow and Millia drew magic into her hand, I rolled my eyes at her, trying to find a way to get to that elf somehow. Then, black shadows gathered from the ceiling and poured down on Petunia’s head.

“What? Now wait… !”

As if painting the world with black paint, violent black waves pierced the place where Petunia had been. She barely rolled her body, but the arrow she had just dropped was still on her floor. While she was about to take the arrow again with her embarrassed face, this time a small stinger flew from an invisible place.

Her twinkle escaped her life, and she was forced to face her chains, which tried to bind her own legs.

Petunia rolled over again and looked at the hole in the wall. As if it would be difficult for her to deal with all these people alone, she tried to get out somehow. I picked up the flower pot that had fallen on the floor and tossed it toward the hole that had been drilled outside.

At the same time, a black current poured over Petunia’s head once more. At the same time as avoiding her current, she prioritized getting out, so she jumped toward the hole, and the flower pot I threw flew at her head.

Pak!

“Evil!”

As the flower pot shattered, the elf’s face became muddy. As she crossed her hole, her arm collided with the gap. The elf’s body bounced like a ball and her bow fell to the floor. The elf rolled over her body with her head wrapped around her, and black chains flew from all sides of her, binding her elf tightly.

She struggled as she gnashed her teeth, but her struggles were weak compared to her fearsome prowess in shooting her bow. After Millia made sure she was bound, she said, pointing to her own hand, which had been bent in a bizarre way.

“Evan. Do you know that I worked so hard to protect you?”

She asked as her mousetrap stuck its head out of her shadow as she frowned and disapprovedly, as if she was really sick.

“Shall I kill him?”

I shook her head and sent her up. Isabel and Elena carefully held onto the stair railing and asked me.

“Eh, Evan. Can I come out now?”

“Huh. Are you okay. The situation has been sorted out.”

She can’t move I couldn’t get her memory out of her pocket, and I couldn’t move her limbs properly. Her eyes were burning with hatred, and her body continued to move, but for now it was our victory.

I asked as Taffy jumped out of the ceiling with a shadow.

“Evan. Won’t you kill me?”

“That is…”

“What are you going to do?”

Millia looked at me and asked.

I looked at the hole Petunia had made. The arrows that shattered the walls of the mansion left huge claw marks in the forest, even if it wasn’t enough to destroy the building in half. As if someone had stamped a finger in the sky, the heavy traces of the collapse that continued in a straight line gave people chills.

Are all the warriors at this level?

I looked at Petunia Titi once more. If we had just shot both arrows, we would have died. Milia was also looking at me and nodding her head. Sophia and the mousetrap were watching me. Elena was weeping from the aftermath of the building collapse, and Isabel took out her account books and started counting her bills.

“Lord, kill… ! My tribesmen will avenge me… ! Kill me!”

Petunia Titi gnashed her teeth and shouted.

But I didn’t want to kill her.

As a member of Hero’s party, she also captured the demon king, and she had never done anything bad to anyone.

Judging by how she deliberately came to Fabian’s funeral, it seemed like they were on good terms.

Should I kill her?

I shook my head.

I couldn’t kill this elf right now.
