Chapter 215 – Alexander (9)
Everyone has a plan.
Until I saw dozens of people turn to dust right in front of my eyes.
The man who stood in front of the protesters and shouted “Down with Hero” Bit his lip and stepped back. People in a fit of madness dropped their stones and clubs and crouched down like beaten beasts. No one could open their mouths in front of Wolf.
It was only after seeing the overwhelming destructive power in person that people were able to feel the weight of the hero’s name.
“Why can’t anyone open their mouth? The dirty Hero Wolf you’re looking for is here! Come forward and open your mouth! I mean jump on it!”
Wolf shouted and swung his sword loudly. Blue energy formed on his sword, and energy like a whip poured out as he swung it. The mansion to the right of Wolf collapsed with a roar, and a panicked person jumped from the balcony on the second floor.
“Ugh… !”
“Ah… !”
Justice is far away, and Wolf’s sword is at hand. The anger that enveloped people’s heads was suppressed by fear. In this place, there were only weak beasts who succumbed to overwhelming power. Wolf said, breaking his neck.
“Why? Why don’t you say anything? Here’s Wolf! Is there no one to jump on!”
Hearing his voice, someone stepped forward. His face was white and his legs were trembling, but he grabbed the club with both hands and shouted at Wolf.
“Wolf! I wish you”
What happened next was not heard by anyone. It was because the man’s courageous cry disappeared, surrounded by a deafening roar and vibration, as if the receiver had lost power. The moment Wolf swung his sword, sharp scars scratched the floor again, and everything that existed along the trail disappeared into a handful of dust.
There was only a deep valley in the open space as if at a triumphal ceremony. There were no bloodstains or bodies.
“Flaw… !”
Wolf wiped the sweat from his forehead and drew in his breath. He looked very tired, but that didn’t mean anyone could pounce on him. Two slaughter. The moment it became clear that he would swing the sword a third or fourth time, people started to run away.
“Aaaaa!”
“The hero is crazy! A hero kills people!”
“Where are you running away! I will kill them all!”
Wolf raised his sword once more. The moment he struck the sword and was about to divide the capital once more, people screamed in despair and ran away, crushing each other. And someone hugged Wolf by the waist and shouted.
“Oh my! It’s Wolf! Quit! Stop! What madness is this!”
Wolf, who was about to strike the sword at any moment, stopped moving. The savage butcher was only able to catch his breath and look around when he heard the voices of his family. A frightened old man was holding him by the waist.
His close relatives all worked together to stop him. Wolf stopped moving, and another member of the Hero family shouted to the people.
“Ruler! Everyone! Disband! Dissolution!”
Regardless of his instructions, people slipped away like the ebb tide. The man stood proudly on the podium where people had disappeared, perhaps because he wanted to feel that he had given orders. Wolf stood there, still holding his sword, and the wrinkled old man raised a blood band around his neck and shouted at him.
“Hey! No matter how much my friend died, the king of the country still fights with swords in the capital city? Uh? Are you going to kill us all? Calm down you bastard! Are you going to kill all the people of this country!”
Wolf gritted his teeth and looked at the old man. But Wolf couldn’t wield the sword like he did to other citizens. He took a deep breath and then screamed, scratching his head.
“Aaaaa!”
He waved his hand in the air once more, and the church shattered like a giant pickaxe. Wolf threw down his sword and walked towards the palace again.
As soon as he walked away, the people who had blocked Wolf’s way collapsed as their legs gave out.
Some were feeling that they were alive as they groped their bodies, and some were swearing while shedding cold sweat. They looked into each other’s eyes, thinking that they had somehow prevented a major accident, and without saying anything, they moved to the luxurious mansion that Wolf had built for them.
******
“The Wolf gnome is crazy. After the death of Fabian or something, he thought he was anxious about something, but since that pig died, he has a seizure.”
Inside the dark conference room. The family members who had benefited from Wolf were talking with faces full of anger and bewilderment. The man who first gave his opinion was wearing a luxurious outfit, but he was dressed in a golden color that didn’t match his skin color at all, and only his face conveyed a sense of bizarreness as if it had been detached and glued together.
In his hand were several rings with jewels as thick as calf’s eyeballs, and perfume was applied to his body, and the smell of perfume was spreading to the point where his nose hurt. The old man in relatively light clothing nodded at his words.
“There is no such thing as an eternal king. No matter how strong Wolf is, once he starts rampaging like a madman like that, his fate is over. If Wolf kills all the people, what the hell are we going to earn money on? Uh? If this continues, war will soon break out. Literally tens of thousands of people would die just to catch one Wolf. And then what will be left? Can we continue to enjoy prosperity? You have to run away. We must get away before Wolf does anything!”
The man nodded at the old man’s words and said.
“You’re right. Just because Wolf killed people today, public opinion in the capital has to be completely shattered. Oh wow, that’s crazy Are you thinking of fighting with swords in the middle of the capital? There should have been some kind of political response there.”
They judged that Wolf’s response this time was very ignorant and stupid. All the wealth they had was something they deserved to enjoy, and the evil that Wolf had accumulated to protect them was the basis for running away.
A relatively young relative raised his hand cautiously and said,
“That… Still, it’s not like Wolf hyung was trying to make something alone… A friend died… Until now, they’ve done this and that to take care of us…”
“Who asked you to do it?”
The old man asked with an impudent face. As the intimidated boy kept his mouth shut, the old man looked around and shouted.
“Isn’t it? When did we ever ask you to do something like this? Uh! When did we ask others to steal and take care of them? Than him up! He got sick by doing things that were out of proportion!”
He was the man who took the most share when Wolf took care of them, as if it were natural. From his son to his grandson, there was no child who did not rise to a major position in the kingdom, from knights to knights, and the clothes that seemed to be dressed simply at first glance were high-end items made by the royal designer on a spinning wheel.
He didn’t deny all the rights he had been given, but he insisted that Wolf took care of it and that we were not at fault for accepting it. Every high-end item attached to his body contradicted his claim, but since clothes and riches had no mouth, all the grounds for this were pointless.
The hero’s relatives nodded their heads at the old man’s words, ignoring all the evidence flashing dazzlingly before their eyes.
“What you said is correct. Wolf is all wrong. We just took it.”
“Who knew you could do something so bad? Now, Wolf is almost finished. He has to survive on his own. Wasn’t it always like that?”
“We would have been better off if Wolf hadn’t done such stupid things.”
“You’re right. Didn’t we support Wolf and work hard to prevent him from becoming like this? Wolf walked into Hell himself.”
Everyone nodded in unison. They really didn’t think Wolfman was at fault. They just wanted to live. In order for them to survive, all they needed was the audacity to not admit their guilt and the confidence to blame their own flesh and blood.
Someone came up with a rational story in the gap between people who are in a hurry to pass responsibility.
“By the way, how are you going to get away? Where else are you going to run away? The world is so small. Where are you going to hide your possessions?”
The old man closed his mouth and looked around at the people. He said in a low voice.
“Let’s escape to another continent. From now on, I will divide the family into two. One side sticks next to Wolf and takes as much time as possible to prevent him from acting out of nowhere. And, the guys with me are getting a boat and preparing to cross the continent.”
Said the old man, straining his eyes.
“Remember. Don’t get caught by Wolf. We are leaving this country pretending to support Wolf.”
