Chapter 26 – Alice (4)
“This is an opportunity. Rather, it is an opportunity.”
Both Elena and Isabel looked at me with worried eyes, but Alice’s proposal was an opportunity for me. An easy chance to establish her social status by having her marriage with Isabel officially recognized. A chance to move to another area to increase my strength, absorb the spirit, and become even stronger.
“Anyway, Evan. The academy must be incredibly secure. What if I find out you’re a demon?”
Alice had vacated her seat, asking us to talk. As soon as the door closed, Isabel stopped going to her academy by citing that I was a demon. I, who was excited about the idea of fucking girls at the academy, couldn’t help but click my tongue at Isabel’s point.
At the level of the academy, there will definitely be a countermeasure against the devil, and you won’t be able to die gracefully if you get caught unluckily.
“But, once I grow my power and become stronger, I have to go anywhere. It is safer for me to go to a place with some defense and infrastructure like the academy rather than going to another area where there is no connection or defense.”
But on the other hand, since there were countermeasures against demons, there wouldn’t be many other demons, and since there were many young women and young men, it was easy to steal energy. Elena asked why I was actively trying to increase my strength.
“Why did the wind suddenly blow like that?”
“Yesterday, I mean.”
I told Elena and Isabelle the story I had with Lilith yesterday. Demons are the best of the beast, so I had to develop my strength even if I didn’t want to rule the world, and if I didn’t, other demons might try to enslave Elena and Isabel.
“What if…”
Elena and Isabel heard the story and seemed to understand that I was trying to get out somehow. However, the problem was not solved by the two understanding. I still couldn’t tell if it was safe to go to the academy or not.
Isabelle said.
“Still, wouldn’t going to the academy be too risky? Evan, you don’t know anything about the academy. But it’s hard to ask Alice about the demon detection device in the academy.”
Alice is a smart kid, and she hated me. She didn’t want to arouse suspicion by asking something out of the blue, such as a demon detection device. After a moment of thought, I raised my head. There was one person who would know this without even asking Alice.

“You will have no problem.”
Rumia, who was invited on the pretext of exploring her unknown aftereffects or her hidden magic, said so while drinking her tea. She wasn’t too surprised that I was going to the academy. I asked.
“Are you okay? Are there any surveillance devices or something?”
“There is. The academy building has a sensor that detects demonic energy above a certain level, so when an alarm goes off, priests and paladins are dispatched.”
Hearing that priests and paladins were dispatched sent chills down his spine. Seeing Rumia’s nonchalant expression, I asked again.
“What, but how do I get in?”
Rumia put down the teacup and said.
“Evan-sama is weak enough to not pass the Magi standard of the alarm device.”
I closed my mouth. Isabelle laughed awkwardly,
“Puff… !”
Elena laughed openly. I said to Rumia while pinching Elena’s cheek.
“I thought I was strong in my own way. I put a brand on you too, I had two women, and I sucked the sword of three servants in addition to the Carlson.”
Rumia shook her head and said.
“For Evan-nim to subjugate me, outside help was great. In fact, if Evan-nim had been alone, I would have been able to escape even if I was exhausted because the truth was reversed.”
That was right. Even at the moment when her strength was exhausted, Lumia tried to gather her divine power and attack me. If it hadn’t been for Lilith, it would have been me lying on the floor and becoming a corpse that day. But still, I couldn’t admit that I was so weak.
What kind of devil are you anyway? Even 4 people sucked?
“Isn’t the standard too high? It’s the devil’s standard required by the academy.”
Rumia looked at me and smiled.
“There are times when the theology department inside the academy treats humans contaminated with ancient magic tools or magic. It’s difficult if the alarm goes off every time like this, so the academy sets the standard for alarms a little higher than other places.”
I wasn’t weak either. The academy’s standards for demons were just too high. I stretched out my chest and said.
“Yes. I knew it.”
Elena bowed her head. Her shoulders slumped. I said to Elena.
“Smile?”
“Oh, no… Suh, when I think about sadness, I shed some tears for a moment… I wiped it.”
If I got angry here, it would only make me look more ridiculous, so I decided to let it go this time. I looked at Rumia again and asked.
“…Anyway, it means you’re safe. It’s okay to use your strength.”
“As long as you don’t open up your powers and make a life-and-death fight with other demons, you shouldn’t have too much of a problem. It’s too little, or you use your waist and indiscriminately increase the number of women.”
Rumia made a loop with her fingers, then inserted and removed it with her other hand. Isabel blushed at her vulgar gestures displayed by her Lumia, and Elena looked at her with a look of disapproval. I said.
“Then has it been decided that you are going?”
Elena nodded her head and said.
“Yes. I feel sorry for you. Without Evan, I have to work at the mansion by myself. It’s scary when it’s just the two of us with the madam.”
Isabelle comforted Elena, who was complaining.
“It can’t be helped. Alice talks like that. We must yield.”
Rumia said.
“If you are feeling uneasy, I will also stay at this mansion for the time being. It’s the mansion where the devil came from, so no one will be surprised if I say I’m staying in this mansion and looking for signs. There won’t be a big human who dares to invade the priest’s mansion.”
“Ah, thank you for that. Are you okay?”
Rumia laughed and said.
“Isn’t it wonderful to have accommodations and meals in a space where Evan-sama’s traces remain? I think I did a really good job living as a priest these days.”
“Evan. I am more afraid of him.”
Elena shook her head, disgusted at her. Rumia laughed and took another sip of tea. I stretched and looked at the ceiling.
When she said she was going to the academy, I was already looking forward to it. What adventures await you in the future? What new encounters await? When I opened the blanket with a pounding heart and climbed into the attic, I fell asleep before I even counted the stars.
*******
When she talked about going to the academy, Alice nodded her head calmly. Her goodbye wasn’t too long. Alice told Isabel several times to understand, and Isabel said that she hugged Alice as she did, and she understood your heart.
Elena made the brazen excuse that she gave me a hug before she left, and that she was friendly with Alice, who looked at her suspiciously. Rumia was full of regret as her priestly status forced her to say goodbye with a simple handshake.
“Then I will go.”
“Take care.”
“I will come back stronger.”
Isabel laughed and waved her hand at her me. I also waved back, and the three of us stood at the front door of the mansion and sent us off until we left town.
He briefly exchanged greetings with the villagers and hurriedly moved to the carriage stop. Alice said as she straightened her clothes.
“I won’t ask you to do anything in particular just because you live in a servant’s quarters. After all, he’s the one who could become my father in the future. Six months would be boring, but I thought my mom needed some time away from her to sort her thoughts out. Please understand me a little.”
“Don’t worry too much. Because I wanted to go to the academy too.”
When I spoke casually, Alice put on a strange expression, then nodded her head and looked at her again. The way her red hair swayed was quite attractive. Alice, whom she saw up close, was quite beautiful. Her nose was high, and her eyes had a sharp, decadent charm.
Although her breasts were small, her legs were stretched out, and her arms and waist were slender. How many people in her academy must have bewitched her white thighs, visible under her uniform skirt.
“Did you say the Ministry of Magic?”
“Me?”
Alice tilted her head at my question, then let out her exclamation and shook her head.
“Ah, did you think that because of the Sylvia story in the letter? My friend Sylvia is the only Ministry of Magic and I am the Law School.”
“Law Faculty?”
“Huh. Faculty of Law. I will get a job right after graduation.”
“Nice.”
In fact, I didn’t know what a lawyer’s job was. Because my life had nothing to do with the law. Alice added an explanation, as if she didn’t like my sullen response.
“The law department has difficult exams and a lot of studying. Instead, when you graduate, you can get a job like a judicial scrivener or a lawyer.”
“Okay? That’s great. Men will line up to get married.”
She raised the corners of her mouth at my reply, but suddenly hardened her expression when she heard her story about Alice marrying men.
“Not really.”
Seeing that expression, I was embarrassed and turned my head away.
