Chapter 40 – Summon Dungeon Guardian – Tier 0
In the dungeon core, thanks to the very grateful hunters who were excited about Alhemina’s retraining, enough magic to summon was gathered to form a dungeon.
She pondered as she reached out to the bare ground. The objects that Harin explained that the F and E classes were hunting had different difficulties depending on the terrain and situation in which they met.
In the case of goblins, they ignored them as the weakest after slimes as long as they were equipped with numbers and quality, and burned unguarded cities and villages, and many adventurers lost their lives when encountering even a small group in the forest.
Guardians with predictable and stable fighting power were good in a situation where you had to capture a hunter instead of blindly counterattacking and killing an intruder like in a normal dungeon.
If so, the guardians I had to summon had to be able to demonstrate stable combat power in any situation, and they had to follow my orders well.
“Me. Ispin Merryport commands as the rightful owner of the dungeon. What I want is a guardian who protects the dungeon. Sharp-toothed forest watchman, come to me.”
As the mana that had been fluttering inside the dungeon core decreased, a magic circle was drawn on the ground. When I peeked at Harin, I was straining my eyes as if I didn’t want to miss anything. She proceeded with her summons slowly enough for her to see.
When the glowing magic circle that lit up the darkness disappeared, a pair of yellow eyes blinked.
“Harin. Lighting magic.”
“It is the light that drives out the darkness.”
As soon as Harin spoke the spell, a small firefly-like mass of light floated around. Then, the figure of a being with yellow eyes that had been hidden in the darkness was revealed.
-Grrr…
“Sigh…!”
Harin swallowed her breath and snuggled up behind me, careful not to make a sound at her.
A gray wolf with a mixture of black, gray and white fur was looking around and grasping the situation. What I called was not just a wolf. Wild wolves picked up and ate magic stones, and adventurers called them Werewolves.
“Hi?”
He greeted her warmly and held out her hand. Looking around, the Warwolf paid attention to me and cautiously put his nose on his hand and sniffed. He started sniffing.
“Now, wait. What if I bite it?”
“Don’t worry too much. Wolves are very clever. Look at it now You are aware of your surroundings by constantly moving your ears and eyes. We can make friends.”
Harin cautiously stretched out her hand from behind me, as if her vigilance was relaxed when she saw the werewolf staring at us without barking even after a while.
– Growl!
“It’s not like that for me!!”
Harin was startled and rubbed her whole body on my back and made a fuss about her. War Wolf looked at Harin and opened her mouth as if she were laughing.
Meanwhile, Harin clung to her back and whether or not she made a fuss, she held out her contract with far lesser terms than the one she had offered to the Minotaur. Every meal provided. It was written only to provide ample rest time.
There was a time in the past when I wondered how illiterate animals could read a contract, but a contract is just a formality. She said that the contents of the contract in the middle of the dungeon core were explained according to each race. The dungeon core was a convenient tool in many ways.
“The fact that you came upon my call means that you will sign a contract, right? How. Do you want to make a contract?”
Hesitating, the war wolf barked softly and stamped his paws on the contract like a seal. As soon as the shape of the soft sole was stamped, the contract that achieved the goal burned away.
Satisfied, he summoned four more werewolves to form a group. After watching the Warwolf he summoned first naturally become the leader of the pack, he signed a contract with the other Warwolves.
If Warwolf was in charge of hit-and-run attacks, he needed someone to become a wall and draw Hunter’s attention. As I tried to summon a new guardian while estimating the remaining magic power in the dungeon core, I heard a scream from behind.
The Warwolves seemed to think that Harin was lower in rank than they were, so they barked lightly, sniffed stockings as they approached, or hovered around to be on guard.
The more he did, the more Harin came closer to me, and she finally came close to me. If it was Yena or Jiyoon, the back would feel moderately soft, but Harin’s flat chest, like a washboard, wasn’t without softness, but there was a feeling that it was lacking. Feeling sorry for her, she licked her lips.
The war wolves shove her thighs between my legs and opened their mouths as if they were satisfied watching Harin tightly tangled together. Laughter came out at the appearance that seemed to have fully grasped the propensity of the owner who likes to rub close to each other.
“Uh, do something…! Aren’t you going to listen?”
“I, Ispin Merryport-“
“Listen to me!”
She lightly brushed aside Harin’s protest and summoned her new magic circle. When the flashing light disappeared, two rows of pure white bones stood side by side.
There is no such thing as intellect, literally a white bone. So, in the right hand of the skeletons who don’t even need a contract, there is a stick or an old spear. The ax was held in disorder. And in my left hand, I was holding a large rectangular shield to carry out the mission of the wall I was aiming for.
As she spread her magical energy over them, a small mark was placed on the skull’s forehead, and she knelt down to bow as if recognizing her master. With this, five werewolves and ten skeletons.
At this level, I thought it was a power that could not be taken lightly for a party weaker than the Hunter team. I thought it would be useful until I got the magic to summon a new guardian.
“Children, you can rest freely in the dungeon. Skeletons are waiting at the end of the first floor.”
When the skeletons, who had nothing to do right away, waited, and the werewolves were given free time, they let out a long cry and quickly ran into the dungeon as if racing.
“Sigh…”
When the loud cries disappeared and the two of them were alone again, Harin let out a long sigh.
“Are you that surprised?”
“I’d be surprised if there were huge wolves all around me that would stand on my feet and be as tall as I am!”
I could hear the sound of my heart beating violently over my chest. I lightly tapped Harin on the shoulder as she took a deep breath to regain her composure.
“Puhehe… So did you learn anything?”
“I knew that the magic you use is purer than the magic a hunter uses to cast magic.”
I thought that alone was a great achievement. After placing her harin on a suitable stone, she placed her hands on both of her shoulders. When a very small amount of mana flowed into her body, there were many areas where the mana flow was blocked or very narrow.
“Great job. That’s what’s important From now on, listen carefully to my explanation and pay attention.”
Harin covered the area around her eyes with the palm of her hand as if trying to get rid of useless thoughts.
“Harin. I will remove all the things that hinder the flow of magical power from within your body. It only uses pure magic and doesn’t leave any residue on the body, so if it’s this, it’ll be fine when you get tested as an S-class hunter later.”
“What would you like to do?”
“The quality of magic that you just pointed out can be improved.”
Harin immediately agreed without hesitation or asking about the side effects or how it progressed. It was good to have a spirit of improvement.
“It may feel strange, but bear with it.”
“What’s wrong?!”
Unlike before, Harin’s body trembled when a large amount of mana was injected. There is one side effect of this technique. It was only that the sensitive inside of the body was stirred by someone else’s magical energy, accompanied by a great pleasure.
What I was aiming for was the impurities that naturally accumulated in my body as I grew up in a place where there was a shortage of mana in the air, and I filtered out and filtered out only the mana that I could use.
The blown mana burned away all the impurities accumulated in the blocked or narrowed part, expanding the passage through which the mana flowed smoothly.
“Ahhhhh”
As if it was hard to bear, Harin let out a strange moan and tried to twist her body. She couldn’t help but sit down on the stone she was sitting on and hugged her from behind. She pushed her magic power into Harin’s body.
“Ehh, ehhh…”
Harin, who was moaning strangely, burned all the impurities accumulated on her body, and the empty dungeon core was slightly filled with her magic power.
“Is it over…? Ha, nothing…”
How many times she’s gone, she chooses not to tell Harin, who lashes out at her bluff with her tongue twisted. I held her in my arms and waited for her to take care of herself when the Werewolves came wagging their tails.
Perhaps it was the apple she had played with just a moment ago, sniffing Harin’s limp hand, pressing her leg with the tip of her nose, or rubbing her body, showing signs of trying to get closer.
“Then it’s not a wolf, it’s a dog.”
“Shall I take you home for a while? I don’t know if everyone likes animals.”
“I don’t know… I want to rest.”
I saw Harin closing her eyes as I burrowed into her arms even more, and she smiled.
And the next day.
Minji and Jisoo left to announce the existence of the dungeon. I just hoped that many pretty hunters would come to the dungeon following the information they spread.
What if it doesn’t come?
I had to go around to kidnap the hunter myself, but I hoped that such a hassle would not happen.
